Many companies utilize a "news" page to keep their visitors informed of changes to their web site, company news, or industry specific news. Marketing research has shown that many returning visitors are more likely to visit this section of a web site than other pages so that they can quickly decide if there is something new of interest to them.
A what's new page, unlike most others, would require frequent changes if the content is to be kept current, therefore it is best if this page's content can be edited from any computer without need of a designer. To do this we have used a PHP script that automates this process by way of a user-friendly administrative control panel.. |
