Stokes Granite and Stone is a stone countertop design and installation company serving the greater Sacramento area, established in 1982 and under new ownership since 2014. We began supporting their existing website in 2011 and redeveloped it in 2016 into a modern, responsive WordPress design to better showcase their craftsmanship.
The redevelopment features a contemporary, professional layout with jQuery image slideshows, lightbox galleries with descriptions, testimonial and logo carousels, a sidebar informational toggle panel, and a blog with search functionality. We provided extensive SEO optimization, content writing, and a validated contact form with auto-response; a sitemap was created and submitted to search engines. Our support has also extended to content updates for their Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Houzz pages.
