Feist Cabinets & Woodworks, Inc. is a family-owned custom cabinetry business in Elk Grove, serving Sacramento homes and businesses since 1987. We first built their website in 2008 as an XHTML site, redeveloped it in WordPress in 2011, and redeveloped it again in 2017 to modernize with a custom theme and updated features.
The 2017 redevelopment was designed to ensure visitor engagement and compete effectively with larger cabinetry companies. The site features a homepage image slideshow, masonry galleries with lightbox display and descriptions, testimonial and logo carousels, a collapsible right information panel, a blog with search functionality, and a jQuery validated contact form. We provided extensive SEO optimization, content writing, and image optimization throughout; a sitemap was created and submitted to search engines.
We supported the site with content updates, CMS maintenance, and security monitoring until Barbara Feist sold the business in January 2025.
