Pietro’s #2 is an owner-operated Italian restaurant in Vacaville that has served family-style Italian and American favorites since 1962. We first developed their website in 2012 as a custom XHTML design with a supplemental mobile-only site, and redeveloped it in 2016 as a fully responsive HTML5 design.
The 2016 site incorporates modern features with traditional styling elements suited to a long-established family restaurant. The site features slideshows and parallax images with text overlay, image and testimonial carousels, accordion toggles, top bar and sidebar toggle panels, a custom logo revision for web use, and Google tour and map integration. We provided content writing and SEO optimization throughout. You can see a visual comparison of this and the 2012 design on our case studies page.
We supported Pietro’s #2 with website updates for over ten years, until 2023 when they chose to transition to a templated platform. We wish them well.
